thebandlover: My dad thinks…
My dad thinks that Clara is a manifestation of the universe itself. He says that she is the universe trying to get The Doctor to start saving worlds and civilizations and people again.
Clara Oswald theory: Bad Wolf/Rose Tyler and Clara are somehow related
FACTS:
- Bad Wolf was able to see all of time and space and mold it. (ep: Journey’s End)
- Constant presence of roses around all three “versions” of Clara.
- ‘The most important leaf in human history’ was from a Norway Maple. (ep: The Rings of Akhaten). Darlig Ulv Stranden (a.k.a. Bad Wolf Bay) is located in Norway (ep: Doomsday / Journey’s End)
- On 5 March 2005, Rose Tyler first met the Doctor. (ep: Rose) 5 March 2005 is also the date when Clara’s mother died. (ep: The Rings of Akhaten).
- Clara is always wearing red clothes (or something red, like her bag in The Rings of Akhaten). Red is the color of most common roses.
- The TARDIS doesn’t seem to like Clara (ep: The Rings of Akhaten). This may be due to the fact that she is an anomaly of the Universe. The same thing happened with Jack Harkness, since Bad Wolf gave him immortality. The TARDIS tried to shake Jack off (ep: Utopia).

stop it
Please stop shipping Clara and 13. It’s gross, and they have zero chemistry
The Magic Invitational was a tournament held between 1997 and 2007. This was a tournament organized by Wizards of the Coast where they would invite the top 16 players of the year and it was arranged as a round robin, meaning every player would play every other player at least once.
The prize for 1st place is one of the most coveted privileges in magic, the ability to make your own card. Also the winner was featured in the artwork of the card.
Olle Rade was the first winner, but stopped playing after the tournament and didn’t claim his prize. Years later he came back to magic and asked if he could claim his prize. Wizards agreed, but he had cut off his long blonde hair and Wizards decided to use pictures of what he looked like when he won the tournament for the artwork instead of what he currently looked like.
Several of the invitational cards would go onto much acclaim, but sadly a few would disappear into obscurity and not see much tournament play. The last invitational card was held back a little longer than normal, possibly because Wizards wanted the last one to go out with a bang.
Snapcaster is definitely memorable and has seen lots of tournament play.
